About Us

ABA Autismus Therapie Düsseldorf GmbH was founded in 2017 to serve the growing need for Applied Behavior Analysis treatment services in Germany. We are dedicated to improve the lives of children and their families. 

We are a team comprised of Behavior Analysts and Co-therapists represented in the cities of Düsseldorf, Munich and Frankfurt. ABA ATD is committed to providing personalised ABA programs for children touched by autism spectrum disorder and/or learning or behavior difficulties.

Rodrigo Pellet Lastra

Rodrigo Pellet Lastra, founder of ABA Autismus Therapie Düsseldorf, is a psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst and himself the father of an autistic child. In addition, Mr. Pellet Lastra is an accredited supervisor for aspiring behavior analysts (BCBA and BCaBA) and RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians). From 2017 to 2020, Mr. Pelltet was a board member of the GermanSociety for Behavior Analysis e.V. (DGV).

Monika Sternau

Monika Sternau is a psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working with children with autism spectrum disorder and their families since 2015. Her focus has been on providing home and community-based interventions, therapies, family counseling, and education in Poland.  Since June 2020 she is a great asset to our team, where she supervises our co-therapists in addition to therapy and family counseling.Society for Behavior Analysis e.V. (DGV).

Tabea Schick

 

Tabea Schick is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and International Behavior Analyst (IBA). In 2018 she completed her bachelor's degree in educational science with a focus on rehabilitation education in Magdeburg. During her studies, she already worked as a children's trainer in sports clubs and as an integration assistant in a daycare center for children with special education needs.

 

Since May 2018 she is an important part of our team. In addition to conducting therapies and family counseling, she is responsible for workshops and interdisciplinary communication and support our new co-therapists specifically on their way to becoming Registered Behavior Technicians.

 

 

Madeline Gehl

Madeline Gehl is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). She is a trained child care worker and has been working with autistic children since 2009. In addition to her work as an inclusion aide at various special needs and mainstream schools, she completed training as an educational and developmental consultant in 2018.

Since January 2018, Madeline has been a great asset to our team. Within the practice, she is the point of contact for our interns and has also taken on the role of Trainee Supervisor. She specifically trains and supports our new co-therapists on their journey to becoming Registered Behavior Technicians.

 

Akiko Utsumi-Borgert

Akiko Utsumi-Borgert is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In 2007 she received her Bachelor's degree in "Social Work" in Japan. In Germany, she completed her Master's degree in "Clinical casework" at Münster University of Applied Sciences. The focus of her studies was in the field of psychotherapy, with special reference to behavior therapy for children with autism spectrum disorders. As part of her studies, she participated in the MIA project (Münster Intensive Therapy for Children with ASD). We are very happy that she is part of our team since February 2021 responsible. our new co-therapists specifically on their way to become a Registered Behavior Technician.

Sohal Ezami

Sohal Ezami is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In 2017, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Educational Science with a focus on personality development and psychodynamic aspects of educational and upbringing processes at the University of Duisburg-Essen. In addition to her work as a co-therapist with us in our practice, she is currently completing her Master's degree in Family Counseling in Essen, Germany. With her cheerful nature, she has enriched our team since September 2021. of our team is responsible. our new co-therapists specifically on their way to becoming Registered Behavior Technicians.

Elena Groß

Elena Groß is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Since 2021, she has a bachelor's degree in special education. Already during her work as an integration aide and her voluntary social year at various special schools, she was able to gain important experience in dealing with and supporting ASD. We are pleased that she has been part of our team since January 2022.

Nofar Nagar

Nofar Nagar graduated in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Trier. She is currently working part-time with us and, in addition to her work, is still studying for a master's degree in psychology in Düsseldorf and is being prepared for the Registered Behavior Technician certificate. We are happy that she enriches the team since June 2022.


Carina Winkels Carina Winkels

Carina Winkels is a psychologist and international behavior Therapist. Since December 2022 she has been part of our team. She completed her master's degree in psychology in Bonn in 2021. Through several internships in the field of children and adolescents, she has been able to gain a lot of experience in the therapeutic field with children with an autism spectrum disorder. .




Marisa Gashi

Marisa Gashi completed her Bachelor's degree in Social Work in 2023 and has been part of our team since April 2023. She has already gained valuable experience in the field of child and youth work through various internships and voluntary work. She currently works part-time with us and is also studying for a Master's degree in Mönchen Gladbach.



Sophie de Priet

Sophie de Priet completed her bachelor's degree in healthcare and nursing in Brussels in 2007. She is also a consultant for reflex integration training. She already has valuable experience from her work in Brussels as a social care specialist and as an educator specializing in prevention and health promotion in society. She has been part of our team since October 2023.
